Introducing the 5 course, “This Whole Sturgeon” dinner; a meal highlighting Northern Divine’s certified organic sturgeon meat and caviar. Guest Chef Thompson Tran, of The Wooden Boat, uses all parts of the sturgeon and brings you traditional Vietnamese dishes paired with award-winning NUOC CHAM Vietnamese Sauces.
Along with Growing Chefs! Executive Director, Andrew Fleet, they will speak to sustainable seafood in Canada and Growing Chefs’ commitment to using local, sustainable food sources.

Green Drinks is back in London and we are hosting our next event at the London Brewing Co-operative on Thursday August 10th from 6pm-9pm. The London Environmental Network is planning to host Green Drinks every 2 months for 2017 (Next event will be in October).
The feature speaker will be Paul van der Werf, current President of London-Ontario-based 2cg Inc. He has been involved in the business of waste prevention and diversion for the last 20 years. A recognized organic waste and composting expert he has in recent years delved into the business of recycling and sustainability planning. Paul is a writer, speaker, consultant, and PhD candidate working to reduce food waste. Paul will be speaking his work and the work being done on food waste in London.
