Thames River Rally – Board Members

The Board of Directors oversees direction of Thames River Rally, and it assists with the leadership, organizational development and sustainability of the organization. This is a hands-on Board made up of action oriented individuals.

Thames Talbot Land Trust

Friends of the Coves

Friends of the Coves normally has a few events every year where they need volunteers to assist. Task typically include invasive species removal, outreach booths and community cleanups. See current posting for Friends of the Coves below:

Are you, or do you know someone who is all of the following:
– in highschool?
– requires volunteer hours, or has a passion for volunteering
– has an interest in building leadership skills
– has an interest in environment, sustainability, and stewardship

If you are, or know someone who has said “yes” to all of the above, we have the perfect opportunity!

Friends of the Coves Subwatershed Inc is organizing a youth leadership program!
What? Participants will become familiar with concepts relating to environmental stewardship, and leadership with hands on components!
Where? at the Friends of the Coves office 111 Elmwood Ave.
When? every Friday from 9:30-11:30am starting June 30th and ending August 4th(6 weeks total)
And! There will be a certificate ceremony on August 12th to recognize the youths’ achievements in the program.

ReHarvest

ReHarvest was established on the belief that all people deserve access to healthy, nutritious food. By focusing specifically on community oriented food education programming, we hope to give people food literacy and agency as well as access to food they need.
